I firstly want to say a big thank-you to all students who brought food for the literature circles today. Our first discussion day went very well. Almost everyone was prepared and there were a lot of meaningful comments made about the stories you are reading. Bravo!
I also want to say thank-you to everyone who brought a beverage or snack for our Valentine's Day celebration and I want to apologize again if anyone was uncomfortable with the movie choice. I learned today that I always need to preview movies even if the rating is PG or G and even if 85% of the class votes for a movie, Mme Couture gets a veto privilege : ). Projects: We will have a gallery walk tomorrow (everyone will have a chance to look at the posters and reports). I am very excited to take a closer look at what appear to be detailed and beautifully presented topics.
Français: Continue reading novels and preparing for next week's literature circles. you will be given at least two blocks of class time to work on this assignment.
