Bonjour,

Devoirs:

Sciences Humaines: Please choose two main facts from the first page of the article we read today about climate change and the Kyoto agreement and write them in the first box entitled "faits". Please use your own words! Then, think of two questions linked to those facts (which you can write in the box entitled "questions".

Maths: Practice finding percentages of whole numbers for the quiz tomorrow (format will be a hidden phrase).

You can find 10% of 50 (which is 5) then multiply your answer by 3 to get 30% of 50 which is 15. You can also multiply 0,30 by 50 which will also give you 15,00. You can also make equivalent fractions : 30/100 and ? /50 (100 divided by 2 is 50 and 30 divided by 2 is 15).

School Spirit Day: Sports Jersey Day is Thursday!

Bonjour,

Devoirs:

Sciences Humaines: Make sure to get the posters in to me tomorrow if you weren't quite finished for today.

Maths: The homework is to create your own secret phrase (like question 2 from Friday's homework). You ask questions using percentages and the answers are clues for different letters (e.g. 10% de 200 = ____ (M) Every time you want an M for your secret phrase, you simply write 20 with a line above it for the letter M )

Don't forget you need to show ALL work for the answers to your secret phrase (on a separate page)

We will have a quiz on Wed. on finding percentages for numbers other than 100 (e.g. 25% of 40 or 50% of 48)

Note: Holiday celebration will take place on Friday (including our secret Santa exchange...gifts must be $5.00 or less ---feel free to make/bake your gift)
